Who GFC suits

GFC Plus adds vitamins A, D, E and Biotin to the concentrate, for hair fall linked to deficiencies.

  • Early-stage thinning, where follicles are still active
  • Patients who want PRP-style therapy with more predictable potency
  • Support for the scalp after a hair transplant

Why HASCI starts with an assessment

Hair fall can have more than one cause. Before any therapy, a doctor examines your scalp and, where needed, suggests blood tests for nutritional deficiencies, iron levels and hormones. If the cause is internal, treating only the scalp is half the answer.

Hair loss caused by the immune system attacking the follicles needs a different approach, and the doctor will tell you if this applies to you.

GFC treatment cost

The cost depends on the number of sessions your doctor recommends and whether GFC is combined with other therapies. You receive an itemised quote after your consultation.

Questions people ask

Is GFC better than PRP?+

GFC has a higher, more consistent concentration of purified growth factors and typically causes less inflammation. Which one suits you depends on your scalp, and your doctor will recommend one after an assessment.

How many GFC sessions will I need?+

A typical course is 4 to 6 sessions, 3 to 4 weeks apart. Your doctor will set the number for your case.

Does GFC hurt?+

GFC is injected into the scalp in the clinic. Most patients find it manageable, and there is no downtime afterwards.

Can GFC replace a hair transplant?+

No. GFC supports existing follicles. Where follicles have been lost, a transplant is the option that restores hair.
