What decides the price
Four things move the cost of a hair transplant, whether you call it a transplant, hair plantation or hair grafting.
- 01The number of grafts. This is the main factor. It depends on the area being treated and how much hair has been lost.
- 02The technique. Standard FUE, DHI and HST are priced differently. HST is a patented technique and is priced as a premium procedure.
- 03The area. Scalp, beard, eyebrows and scars each need different graft counts and planning.
- 04Your scalp. Donor density, hair type and any earlier transplant change how the procedure is planned.

Why price per graft is not the whole picture
A low price per graft can hide the cost of grafts that do not take, or of a second procedure to correct the first. HASCI regularly sees patients whose earlier transplant needs repair.
HST takes only part of each follicle and leaves the stem cells behind, so the donor area is designed to grow back. That matters if you may need a second session later.*
