What GFC is
GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate) is a refined form of PRP. A small amount of your blood is processed to isolate a high concentration of growth factors, such as PDGF, VEGF and IGF-1, which are injected into the scalp to support follicles that are still active.
What sets the price
- 01Number of sessions: a typical course is 4 to 6 sessions, 3 to 4 weeks apart.
- 02The preparation used: GFC, or GFC Plus with vitamins A, D, E and Biotin.
- 03Whether GFC is combined with other therapies, such as exosomes, or with a transplant.
- 04The size of the area being treated.

- Compare the price of the full course, not a single session.
- Ask whether the assessment and any blood tests are included.
- Ask what is injected: a growth factor concentrate, or plasma (PRP).
- Ask who performs the sessions and how progress is reviewed.
