FUE vs DHI vs HST: how the techniques differ

FUE, DHI and HST all move hair from the back of the head to where it is thinning. They differ in how the grafts are taken, how they are placed, and what is left behind in the donor area.

What the donor area means for you

The donor area is limited. With techniques that remove whole follicles, every graft taken is gone from the back of the head for good. HST takes only part of each follicle and leaves the stem cells behind, which matters if you may need more than one session.*

Which one suits you

The right technique depends on your hair type, donor density, the area to treat and any earlier procedure. A doctor can review photos on WhatsApp and explain what they would recommend for your case.
